David Sundberg photographed AIA award-winning house in Pennsylvania

Cutler Anderson’s Farmhouse in eastern Pennsylvania has just received a prestigious 2017 AIA Housing Award. David Sundberg photographed the project for the architects. Large moveable shutters are an important design feature and cool the house in the summer. There is ground source radiant heat with a wood-fired furnace for the cooler seasons. As with other Cutler Anderson work, the house sits lightly on the site, with minimum interruption of the natural features even during construction. The AIA award was announced in the April issue of Architect Magazine.
