Jonno Rattman is a New York City based photographer whose work is informed by a humanistic approach to the complicated present. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Rattman caught his first break at age 22 with an assignment from the New York Times Magazine. In the interceding years, he has completed commissions for more than a dozen national publications.

Rattman strives for emotional depth, narrative dynamism, and geometric rigor in his long-form bodies of work and portraiture. In 2015, Rattman was recognized as one of PDN’s 30 Emerging Photographers to Watch. He has taught digital printing and book design courses at the International Center of Photography in New York.
