For Jeff Goldberg, it is important to understand the architect’s intent. His images are made with great precision, blending spontaneity and control, to create engaging interpretations of structure, materiality and space.
Jeff trained at RIT. His vision and craft have evolved over the years to the highest level of mastery. In recognition of his contribution to the field of architecture, he received the prestigious AIA Collaborative Achievement Award in 1997.
He has travelled widely for Pelli Clarke Pelli, photographing projects in Mexico, India, Vietnam and is planning a trip to Brazil for the firm. Widely published recent assignments include the Snohetta San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Tadao Ando’s Clark Art Institute. If you can find the NY MTA Night Subway map, you’ll see Jeff’s photographs of the Second Avenue Subway.
