Demolition of Geller I Residence, Designed by Marcel Breuer

Marcel Breuer became the leading postwar architect because of his design of the residence Geller I. The house, which has been standing since the mid 1940s, has been demolished by the new owners of the Long Island home. The demolition of the house has angered preservationists who were trying to save this slice of architectural history.
