Metropolis Features Sahar Coston-Hardy’s Photos of DAVID RUBIN’s Franklin Park

Sahar Coston-Hardy photographed the revitalization of Washington, D.C.'s Franklin Park by DAVID RUBIN Land Collective.  The project is currently featured in Metropolis magazine. Steven Mufson highlights the studio’s design, including new tree canopies, play areas, water features, and seating that invite daily civic life. It also covers Rubin’s plan to reimagine Pennsylvania Avenue as connected urban rooms that balance monumentality with vibrant, people-friendly spaces. Operated by the Downtown DC BID, Franklin Park sets a new standard for civic landscapes that are open, inclusive, and democratic.
