David Sundberg is actively involved with contemporary architecture and travels widely on assignment. Important new work in the New York area includes the supertall 111 W.57 for SHoP Architects; renovation of the Battery Maritime Building for Marvel Design; Fotografiska New York for Cetra Ruddy and the MTA’s Enhanced Station Initiative for Grimshaw Global Architects.

Sundberg grew up in St Louis, studied in New York and Paris and graduated from NYU with a degree in photography. With a keen sensitivity to the way light and time impact the perception of space, David creates dynamic, engaging images which often appear in the design press.
